MEDFUTURE is an initiative of the Santa Clara County Medical Association (SCCMA) designed to position the organization as a leading convener and trusted resource at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare innovation, and medical practice. Through MEDFUTURE, SCCMA aims to support physicians in navigating the evolving landscape of digital health technologies by fostering education, collaboration, and practical engagement.
The purpose of MEDFUTURE is to:
- Deliver High-Impact Educational Programs: Equip physicians with the knowledge and tools needed to understand, evaluate, and responsibly implement AI and emerging technologies in clinical practice.
- Cultivate an Innovation Hub: Explore the development of a physician-centric innovation marketplace, where medical professionals can connect with health tech innovators, startups, and academic partners to co-create and assess new solutions.
- Facilitate Pilot Participation: Provide a structured pathway for physicians to participate in real-world technology pilots, ensuring their voices shape product development and deployment in ways that enhance patient care and physician workflow.
