The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department’s  2023-2026 Strategic Plan sets the direction for the organization for the next three years. The objectives and strategies laid out provide a roadmap that will help achieve their mission to protect and improve the health and well-being of the community. CMA Hosting Webinar on Medi-Cal Managed Care Plan Transition

At the end of 2022, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) reached an agreement with five commercial managed care plans (MCP) to deliver Medi-Cal services in 21 counties across the state starting in January 2024. HEALTH UPDATE: PREVENT MPOX TRANSMISSION IN SUMMER 2023

While cases of mpox (formerly called monkeypox) have declined in Santa Clara County and the United States, the outbreak is not over. Recently, Chicago has reported 23 mpox cases since April 2023. As noted in a health alert from Chicago, which reported the first 12 confirmed and one probable cases from this cluster, nine out the first 13 (69%) cases were fully vaccinated.
