It is with a heavy heart that I announce the retirement of our beloved CEO, William Parrish. His skills and leadership are well regarded and recognized throughout California and the nation.
Bill began his tenure at SCCMA in March of 1995 and will retire from his daily responsibilities at the end of June; from July until the end of December Bill will serve as a consultant to the Executive Committee and the new CEO.
Bill played an integral part in the recruitment and interviewing process for his successor, April Becerra. April comes highly qualified and experienced, having worked previously for the California Society of Anesthesiologists and most recently, as the Executive Director of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Please join me in thanking Bill for his tenure and in welcoming April. Attending this year’s annual awards banquet (6/5/18) would be an excellent way to accomplish both.
